Xceive Names George Fang Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Industry veteran brings international sales expertise to further establish Xceive as the leader in multi-standard silicon tuners for TV and PC TV.
SANTA CLARA, CA – September 27, 2006 – Xceive Corporation, developer of the world’s first fully integrated multi-standard RF-to-baseband transceiver ICs for TVs, PC TVs and set-top boxes, today announced the appointment of George Fang to vice president of worldwide sales. Mr. Fang brings more than 25 years of experience in the consumer electronics and personal computer industries to Xceive.
In his new position, Mr. Fang will work to leverage Xceive’s already strong presence in the TV and PC TV market by building relationships and securing customer design wins such as Xceive’s recent partnership with Fujitsu. Xceive’s XC2028 silicon tuner is designed in Fujitsu’s high-end LifeBook® N6410 notebooks to ensure that viewers receive a sharp, clear, high quality picture. Xceive’s QuickTune® silicon TV tuners provide superior performance, low power, and smaller form factor for the development of advanced TV and PC-TV applications.

Prior to Xceive, Mr. Fang held the position of vice president of worldwide sales at PortalPlayer and then Tripath, where he built global sales teams and directed all sales activities. Before working with PortalPlayer, he held the positions of vice president and director in sales and marketing at OPTi, Oak Technology and Trident Microsytems.
