Xceive To Showcase New Hybrid Reference Designs At COMPUTEX
SANTA CLARA, CALIF. and Computex, TAIPEI, TAIWAN – June 6, 2006 – Recognizing the growing DVB-T and ATSC markets, Xceive Corporation, developer of the world’s first fully integrated multi-standard RF-to-baseband transceiver ICs for TVs, PC TVs and set-top boxes, today announced that it will showcase three new hybrid reference designs at Computex (June 6 – 10, Taipei, Taiwan).
Utilizing the global functionality of Xceive’s silicon tuner, XC3028, the boards receive all global analog standards, the related digital standards and are ATSC and NorDig compliant. The following reference designs are available today:
• LG ATSC demodulator: utilizes XC3028 and LG’s LGDT3303 to meet ATSC digital standards in addition to all global analog standards
• ATI ATSC demodulator: utilizes XC3028 and ATI’s T314 to meet ATSC digital standards in addition to all global analog standards
• Intel DVB-T demodulator: utilizes XC3028 and Intel’s CE6353 to meet DVB-T digital standards and all global analog standards
By combining the tuner and digital demodulator on a single, small form factor board, the reference designs provide an efficient evaluation and design-in process.
"Xceive's XC3028 silicon tuners easily interface with external digital demodulators to provide the highest performance possible and compatibility with global standards,” said Alvin Wong, vice president of marketing for Xceive.
Xceive will showcase the designs at an at an invitation-only suite at the Grand Hyatt Hotel during Computex.
