Xceive Breaks Barriers to Deliver Analog TV “ANYWHERE” on the Planet
SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 24, 2004—Xceive Corporation, a leading-edge developer of RF-to-baseband receiver ICs, today announced the XC2028, an ultra-small analog one-chip receiver that breaks through prior size and power bottlenecks. The XC2028 receives TV signals anywhere on the planet, regardless of the local standards environment.
According to Jordan Du Val, Xceive vice president of sales, “The concept of ‘TV Anywhere’ is becoming increasingly important as consumer products from advanced-featured cell phones to very thin flat-screen TVs become more prevalent. The XC2028 eliminates the need for designers to be concerned about conforming to global standards, and exceeds the specifications commonly found in a double conversion tuner CAN,” added Du Val.
The XC2028, based on Xceive’s patent-pending technology, has a high dynamic range. The device, housed in an ultra-small (7mm x 7mm) 48-pin MLF package, meets B/G, D/K, I, L/L and M/N standards.
