Xceive Corporation Appoints Jean-Louis Bories as CEO

Semiconductor veteran from National Semiconductor and LSI-Logic to lead fast growing silicon tuner company.

SANTA CLARA, CA – April 17, 2006– Xceive® Corporation, developer of the world’s first fully integrated multi-standard RF-to-baseband transceiver ICs for TVs, PC TVs, and set-top boxes, today announced the appointment of Jean-Louis Bories as CEO. Bories brings more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, gained from high profile positions with companies, such as National Semiconductor and LSI-Logic.

This appointment follows several recent milestones for Xceive. The company’s ICs are the highest integrated silicon tuners designed into high-end televisions. In addition, Xceive’s XC3028 is the only tuner, silicon or can, to receive certification from Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) Research Labs.

“Xceive is in prime position to make a significant impact on the silicon tuner industry,” said Cees Jan Koomen, Xceive’s Chairman. “Jean-Louis’ extensive experience in all aspects of the semiconductor business and his international management experience will contribute to our goal of reaching the next stage of market leadership.”

While at National Semiconductor, Bories introduced the first optimized interface for LCD TV panels and launched the first analog mixed signal integrated video processor for digital television. This experience will be helpful as Xceive leads the development of quality tuners for high-end electronic devices.

“Xceive has grown into a powerhouse, competing among the industry’s biggest players with tuners that truly outperform other solutions,” said Bories. “I am eager to join this dynamic team as it continues to prove its unlimited potential.”
