Central Application Engineering Director

This position is in our Santa Clara, CA office

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include Leading a team of Engineers based in Santa Clara and Supporting worldwide customers and partners to achieve full system integration of Xceive Silicon Tuner in TV and PC-TV systems. 

Requirements

BSEE, MSEE preferred w/ 8+ years experience. Technical expertise of RF TV tuner technology and Wireless technology including Sensitivity, SNR, TV Modulation Techniques, PCB Schematic, Placement and Layout. Knowledge of Video Systems and Silicon expertise (Tuner, Digital and Analog Demodulation, Video Decoder, Mpeg).
Driver level software experience, both PC/Windows and Consumer electronics oriented and Good Debug methodology to interface efficiently with internal engineering and customer engineering groups

Previous Management Experience required with proven skills in technical leadership and people management. Knowledge to put in place an Application Engineering infrastructure. Good communication skills are necessary to build Engineer to Engineer relationships with customers (Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, South East Asia). Program Management experience in order to drive internal and customer programs to completion in a minimum time. Team Builder.
