About Xceive

Xceive is a fabless semiconductor company founded in July 2001, with headquarters in Santa Clara, California. Xceive's mission is to become the leading producer of RF-to-baseband transceiver ICs for TVs and set-top boxes, a $3B dollar addressable market.

Problem:TV manufacturers are facing unprecedented challenges. Complex and expensive electronics are required to deal with an array of digital TV standards. There is also an increasing number of divergent form factors and technologies to be addressed, from thin LCDTV and Plasma TVs to new devices such as PDA and cell phone TVs (uniquely enabled by Xceive's products.) These problems are exacerbated by the fact that customers are very resistant to buying high-priced consumer electronics in volume at a higher cost.

Xceive’s Solution:Xceive’s solutions are based on our patented tunable wideband active RF filtering technology, which allows us to deliver an ideal solution to the customer. We offer broadband transceivers for the analog only or analog/digital (hybrid) TVs with better image quality, at a very small form factor, and low power. Our product simplifies product designs by supporting all analog TV demodulation standards on chip and interfacing to digital demodulators for digital standard support anywhere in the world. In summary: Xceive offers better image quality, superior flexibility, at a lower price.
